One of the most wonderful things about being in the #HamlineMFAC program at #HamlineUniversity (St. Paul, MN) is spending time with the amazing, award-winning authors who teach there. Here are just a smattering of titles--there are so much more!

Daisy Rain
Daisy has spent over 25 years in the classroom and has managed to preserve her sanity—mostly. Actually, she feels quite blessed to be doing what she loves. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology in 1990 and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2004. She will graduate with a Master of Fine Arts in writing for Children and Young Adults at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota in July of 2021.
In the summers, you can find Daisy in her gardens with her husband. You might also catch her in her office writing underneath a real chandelier. As often as she can, though, she loves spending time with her grandbaby, Wiggle, who was born on her birthday and her grandniece, Giggle, who was born on Christmas Eve. Truly, these children are bright lights in her world.
